Social Butterfly much?

Well something like that cause lately I’ve been going out after work for almost a week + I start feeling like my life so happening which really shows how much I’ve been NOT going out already and so far good thing is that I have not done my accounts for the month or I’d prolly die of heart attack

Well yeah I’ve not been updating but I promise the photos shall be up soon!

Lemme just update you guys abit,

#2 I’ve been out for dinners like my company’s annual dinner, dad & sis’s birthday dinner, all yummy food I tell you *noms*

#4 Funerals and Hospital admissions for a few of my gadgets T_________T

FYI I have been fasting on sms-es for about a month already!

Currently eyeing on the FRUIT

EXAM MODE ON : Forgive me!

Food Review : Ah Kiew Tom Yam

My cousie-in-law expanded his shop into a restaurant recently in Seri Kembangan and that day we went on a visit to eat for free er… i mean “pong chan” them..

They had been doing business from their house in Serdang for years now but only recently they’ve moved to a bigger, larger shop lot!

And like what they name their restaurant, the main dish popular here is the TOM YAM!

This one suits those who hunts for the exciting sour and spicy oomph! in a dish.

Though for me a not-so-likey-sour-stuffs this one is too much to handle.

LOL

Next dish would be…

“Yi Tau Mai Fun” aka Fish Head Mi Hun!

This is in the top of the menu. Usually this’ll be sold out by 3 or 4 pm on weekends. Madness.

They add wine and milk into the soup which was boiled using bones over charcoal fire every morning.

End result = sweet, fragrant soup!

Oh and don’t be fooled by the word noodle cause when you order noodles (as in in english from the menu) it’s actually mihun or rice vermicelli.

That day I wanted to eat their Nasi Lemak Kari Ayam (chicken curry in english) but unfortunately was out already T_T and it was like only 11++am-ish near to 12pm on a Sunday. walao eh..

Was craving for it sumore.. haiz…

So I opted for the pork noodle instead!

It had pork meat, pork slices, pig’s liver bleargh vege and noodles.

It’s quite a huge portion so good for us foodies!

Food! nom nom nom~

And so here comes my food post!

So this place is somewhere on Old Klang Road PJ opposite the wet market. And this place sells the yummiest steamed fish I’ve ever ate!

The place

 

It was initially empty and then…

Look at the amount of people there that filled up the place in minutes~!

And so we ordered. There’s:

fishes of 4 flavors in 3 sizes, (S,M,L)

-ginger (the pic is the medium one)

-tomyam

-sicap (i dunno how to explain what is this )

-and ‘cheng’ steamed which is basically without any kicap or oyster sauce.

besides fish they also have te ka chor a.k.a. pig leg cooked with vinegar (sound so cacat in english) , bah kut teh, steamed otak-otak, taufoo, and veges.

Honestly I don’t know what fish do they use. Some unidentified fish but if I’m not wrong its freshwater fish. But you don’t have to worry about the smell and all cause they don’t smell.

The meat of the fish is very soft and the skin is jelly-like and I tell you it’s the awesomest fish I’ve ate!

And another thing I like is that they serve the rice in bowls with chopsticks and spoons! So when I eat I feel very chinese

 

That I try eating without the spoon!

     

And look at my dad’s rice! eeee! Garlic maniac!

Lookie how clean we sapu the fish! Bone also tada.

 

And it’s not really expensive also considering it’s in KL and all.

That day we ate came about RM54.90 for the four of us with 6 bowls of rice (yes we tambah nasi!) and drinks and side dishes.

They open around 4.00-5.00pm around there and around  5 plus would be the right time cause after that it’ll be really full with humans and cars that you may have to wait for empty tables. But parking spaces are quite ok lah. At least they have adequate spaces around.
